The Cause
Proceeds will benefit environmental and sustainability initiatives, such as dune management, that directly affect our gulf beaches. Educating residents and visitors on the importance of keeping our beaches clean and safe for our wildlife, sea turtle and sea bird nesting protection, beach clean-up programs, wildlife rescue & rehabilitation programs and the Isle of Capri Civic Assoc. community improvement projects.
7:00am-7:45am Race Day Packet Pick-up and same day Registration
8:00am-100 Meter Run
8:15am-5K race start
8:30am-1 Mile run/walk start
The Course
The 5K beach run date is chosen when there is an extremely low morning tide to expose the beautiful wide hard packed shoreline of the Treasure Island Beaches.
Perfect for running!
The race starts just after sunrise and it is a
straight out and back run/walk starting and ending at
the iconic Thunderbird Beach Resort with turn around
just south of the Caddy's Water Station,
located at Caddy's, Treasure Island.
The 5K is chip time race managed by Fit2time.
The After Party!
The Thunderbird's Ikki Woo Woo Tiki Hut will be hosting the after party!
Entertainment by NoFILTER
Food, Beer, Seltzers, Mimosas, Awards, Prizes and so much more.
And be sure to stay after the After Party and enjoy the beach.
