Volunteer for the Pelicans!

Donating your time is just as valuable as your dollars!

Get involved and meet us for a chance to rescue pelicans or educate tourists about fishing line entanglement.

Which days are you available?

As a Volunteer, I understand that I am working with sick/injured birds and that I might be susceptible to illness or injury.  I fully release, discharge, and hold harmless forever Friends of the Pelicans, Inc. it's members, Officers, staff, Board of Directors, and other volunteers from any and all things, acts, omissions, or conditions which cause me damage or injury or otherwise.

If you are a first time volunteer with Friends of the Pelicans:

  1. Please fill out the Application on this page

  2. Please download and sign the waiver and then upload the Waiver

  3. Please watch the orientation video (coming soon)

 

After we have received your documents, you are welcome to join us as a volunteer at one of our outreach events, as a mangrove monitor or on the pier rescue team.  Someone from our team will reach out to you.

For those who are already on our volunteer team, please check the calendar for events of interest where help is needed.
